On Tuesday, November 21, from 2 – 3 PM EST, AHCA, with guest speakers Sarah Baker, Programs Manager from Healthcare Ready and Nicolette A. Louissaint, Ph.D. Executive Director of Healthcare Ready will hold a webinar on the new emergency preparedness final rule impacting Skilled Nursing Facilities, Nursing Facilities and Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Providers will need to be in compliance by November 15th 2017. The webinar will include an overview of Healthcare Ready and resources available to members, a update on this past hurricane season and best practices learned and a review of components of the CMS emergency preparedness rule. This is the fourth webinar in the four-part webinar series AHCA will hold this year on the emergency preparedness rule.
