F 309 & Antipsychotics?! Compliance?! QAPI?!: Your Integrated Pathway to Dementia Care. Part One: The Good, the Bad and the QAPI

New surveyor guidance from CMS for F309 and F329, related to residents with dementia and the use of antipsychotic drugs, reflects a new approach from CMS: an approach that is more holistic and aligns well with a QAPI process. Although the term "QAPI" may be new to the long term care community, many of the approaches embodied in QAPI are already in practice and will enhance individualized care and quality. Join us for a brief and illuminating session that provides insights and strategies for achieving compliance with regulatory requirements utilizing a QAPI approach.
