Attention IPCO attendee, your IPCO certificate is about to expire. To keep your certificate active, you need to take timely action steps to renew. There are two options for renewal:
- Register here to complete the competency renewal exam. You must receive at least an 80% or above to successfully receive the renewal certificate, valid for 3 years. You will have three attempts to complete the exam. Note, this option is only available to individuals who have previously successfully completed the full IPCO course and are seeking renewal.
- If you do not successfully complete the renewal exam, you will be able to register for and take the IPCO Version 2 training course. Register Here
- Register to take the IPCO Version 2 training course. This course has been updated recently with additional content including enhanced barrier precautions, candida auris, water management program and COVID-19. Register Here

50 Questions | 3 attempts | 40/50 points to pass | Graded as Pass/Fail

Students will need to correctly answer forty (40) out of fifty (50) questions or achieve 80% on the final test in order to successfully complete the course and receive the certificate. Participants will only have three (3) attempts to successfully complete the test. Should the test not be successfully completed in three attempts, the course will lock and students will not be allowed to further advance in the course. Students will then be required to register for the full IPCO Version 2 course & pass in order to renew. Contact educate@ahca.org to receive a credit towards your IPCO course purchase.
