LTC Survey Process Updates “Hot Topics” with Food, Nutrition and Dining

The new survey process has been in place since November 2017 and encompasses extensive changes to survey procedures, survey forms, F-tags, and survey guidance for food, nutrition and dining. This webinar will present the most current revisions to the LTC requirements of participation and survey process. In addition to sharing critical resources for success, recent “hot topics” emerging from LTC Surveys related to Food, Nutrition and Dining will be presented. Learn how to be prepared for successful management of Food, Nutrition and Dining with the LTC Survey Process.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the most current key changes in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) revised Requirements for Participation for Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing facilities.
  • Describe the focus revisions to SOM and “Hot Topic” areas related to the Appendix PP for food/nutrition/dining.
  • Identify resources to assist in facility implementation of food, nutrition and dining for regulatory compliance with the new LTC Survey Process.
