Holly Jarek, DSc, N.H.A
Chair of ID/DD Committee, Vice President and Nursing Home Administrator for Seven Hills Pediatric Center, a pediatric skilled nursing community.
Ms. Jarek is a graduate of the School of Nursing at Boston University with BS and MS in Child Health Nursing and holds a Doctorate from the University of Alabama in Health Services Administration. She has over forty years experience working with medically fragile children and young adults. Her doctoral work explored the administrative challenges facing pediatric long-term care administrators.
Ms. Jarek's experience includes a decade of working with the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in a variety of leadership and educational roles. She was also a full time faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Nursing School during this time, specializing in pediatrics and technology-based care.
She followed with ten years in the private sector, establishing home care programs for medically fragile children throughout the United States and Canada as a National Program Manager with Olsten Health Services, before returning to the non-for-profit arena with Franciscan Children's Hospital.She currently serves as Vice President of Seven Hills Foundation and Administrator at Seven Hills Pediatric Centers in Groton and Hopedale, Massachusetts.
Ms. Jarek is a member of the Massachusetts Board of Nursing Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Team which is a program that assists nurses to return to practice. She is also a board member of the Pediatric Complex Care Organization.
