Harnessing AI for Enhanced Healthcare Education: Lessons Learned: DS25 Session

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a cornerstone for innovation in healthcare. This session will explore the use of AI in the training and professional development of staff working in the long-term care sector. Participants will be introduced to the fundamental principles of AI, learning how it can be harnessed to create dynamic, adaptive, and efficient training modules tailored for staff. Take a look at ethical dimensions, field study results, and best practices for AI in staff development to leverage the power of AI to promote safety and care quality. Whether you're a healthcare educator, an IT specialist, or a curious healthcare professional, this session will empower you to reimagine the future of training in the eldercare sector.

• Appraise two key advantages of utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to generate industry-specific training content in long-term care.
• Analyze two major challenges associated with implementing AI-based solutions in healthcare training environments.
• Explain three core principles of artificial intelligence that inform the development of adaptive, AI-enhanced training modules.
