AHCA/NCAL has partnered with Equus Workforce Solutions to offer long term care apprenticeship programs. The goal is to get more people engaged in the long term care profession as it battles a workforce crisis. The AHCA/NCAL and Equus collaboration will help to support the development and expansion of Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs) that can potentially impact our long term care provider members and those they serve in the future.
During this session, you will hear from Michelle Day, who is the National Workforce Solutions Director at Equus. Learn how you can engage in this apprenticeship partnership as a long term care provider, and get your pressing questions answered.
Also hear directly from providers, Tina Sandri of Forest Hills of DC and Mark Klyczek of Virginia Health Services, on their experiences around apprenticeship programs and the innovative work they have underway on the workforce side.
Be sure to pass this webinar offering along to anyone in your center/s that might be interested in attending this event (HR, business office, nursing home administrators, etc.), which will be recorded if you can’t make it.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the many RAP benefits include building a pipeline of skilled workers, gaining workers with customized skills, and enhancing employee retention and employer reputation.
- Learn how to get an apprenticeship program underway with Equus.
- Get your pressing questions answered around apprenticeship programs and how they benefit both the employer and worker alike.
- Hear directly from a provider perspective on apprenticeship programs and how they work
This webinar is available to AHCA/NCAL members only.
