Quality Award Gold Examiner Program Webinar - Thursday October 16 from 4-5pm EST

Join us for a webinar on Thursday, October 16, from 4-5 pm EST, to learn about the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living Gold Examiner Program, hosted by AHCANCAL Quality Award Board Member and Gold Judge, Paul Grizzell. 

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program recognizes long-term and post-acute care centers across the nation that strive to improve quality care. The progressive program, based on the Baldrige Performance Excellence criteria, sets high standards for quality and encourages centers to commit to excelling in quality performance. Volunteer Silver and Gold Examiners work on teams to evaluate applications, using a formal process established by AHCA/NCAL, including using the Scoring Calibration Guidelines, developed by Mark Blazey. 

Candidates with prior experience as an Examiner with a Baldrige-based program should apply to serve as a Gold Examiner, while individuals new to the Baldrige criteria or without Examiner experience should apply as Silver Examiners.

Registration is free for both members and non-members.  

Instructions to Register:  

• To avoid technical problems, use Google Chrome.  
• Members will need to log in using their existing email and password first.  
• Once you are logged in to the website, you will be able to register by clicking the green register button at the top of the page.  
• If you have forgotten your password, click here. 
• If you are new to the site, you can create an account here. Answer all fields on the create an account page- especially locating your company name. You can search by name or zip code. After creating an account, you will be able to register for the webinar.  

Instructions to join, after registering: 

• On the day of the webinar, you will be able to join 15 mins before.  
• Log in and return to the contents page to open the webinar. 
• For optimal performance, please use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari 14+. Internet Explorer is not supported. Disable pop-up blockers in your browser settings. A wired internet connection is recommended over WiFi for stable bandwidth. 
• Ensure your speakers are unmuted and functioning correctly.
