Vaccines are a critical tool to help prevent residents and staff from getting seriously ill due to the flu, COVID-19, and RSV—viruses that commonly spread during the fall and winter. Long term care providers remain committed to, and nursing homes are required to educate and offer these vaccines, but many remain reluctant to roll up their sleeves. Hear from federal officials and expert staff at AHCA/NCAL about new resources, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Risk Less. Do More. Campaign, how to overcome vaccine reluctance that can help increase vaccine uptake among our residents and staff.
