Immediate Jeopardy Toolkit

The Immediate Jeopardy Toolkit on-demand webinar provides a comprehensive overview of CMS guidance and regulatory expectations related to Immediate Jeopardy (IJ) determinations as outlined in Appendix Q. This webinar is designed for skilled nursing leaders to recognize, prevent, and respond to Immediate Jeopardy (IJ) situations under CMS regulations. The resource includes step-by-step processes for removal and correction, customizable templates and checklists, offers QAPI-based strategies for ongoing prevention and clear communication protocols for engaging staff, residents, and staff. Designed to strengthen regulatory readiness, the toolkit equips facilities with actionable tools to safeguard residents, reduce compliance risk, and support a culture of safety and quality.
