Social Services

The Social Services webinar provides a detailed overview of the federal requirements under 42 CFR §483.40(d) and related F-tags, including the provision of medically related social services, social worker qualifications, and state-specific regulations. The session also highlights the role of social workers in supporting resident rights, facilitating care conferences, coordinating discharges, and addressing behavioral health needs.

Additional topics include trauma-informed care, substance use disorder, grievance programs, and survey focus areas, with practical strategies to strengthen compliance and enhance quality outcomes.

Registration is free to AHCA/NCAL members.
